Just for golfers: Energy drink, Rain gear
Written by: Rebecca Milner on May 20, 2008 at 11:17 pm | In Fashion & Lifestyle Trends |As supplements and health drinks continue to specialize to the most niche degree (remember the gamer supplements?), Dydo Drink Co. brings us Nice On, an energy drink that is intended specifically for golfers.

This guarana flavored carbonated drink contains extracts of ginko leaf, hihatsu pepper, and maca root, which are thought to improve strength, blood flow, and concentration while fighting fatigue. The idea is to knock back one of these 190ml cans to refresh before attempting a tough shot.
The canned drink is targeted at middle aged and up men, of the likes who are in habit of drinking canned coffee on a regular basis, and will sell for the same ¥120 at golf-related areas.
In other golf related news, Yokohama Rubber Co.’s golf wear brand, PRPG has created a series of high performance rain proof golf apparel, New Rain Compo.

Designed for maximum mobility and water protection, the jacket and pants don’t come cheap (¥24,150 and ¥19,995, respectively) but will allow hardcore golfers to weather the upcoming rainy season.
