More good press from the Wall Street Journal
Written by: Michael Keferl on April 5, 2007 at 12:15 pm | In Fashion & Lifestyle Trends, Press coverage |The WSJ’s Amy Chozick has put out another nice Japan-centric piece with input and photos from CScout Japan president Sven Kilian. The first article can be found here. The focus this time is on the ubiquitous black over-the-knee socks that have been the rage as of late.
Below is a photo we took at the Tokyo International Anime Fair that illustrates the point quite well. Quite well indeed.

it has already got on trend in China…knee-high socks,mini-skirt and big hand-bags…a city girl model
pretty dull…i guess men would rather without socks, less colorful, but real…

Are you kidding me?? Men, or at least this one, would MUCH rather have you wearing the socks!!! Women spend billions of dollars ayear to make themselves look younger but when it comes time to wear knee socks or over-the-knee socks they say, “Oh!! That’s way too juvenile!!”
Doesn’t make much sense to me.
